During late August, 2011, CAIR-WA will release Washington state's first ever Muslims voter guide. 

Candidate survey questions were drafted using suggestions from Muslims from across the state.  The guide will list responses to these survey questions by candidates running for city and county council positions in all major cities and counties in the state, especially those cities and counties where mosques are established.  

There are estimated to be over 100,000 Muslims in the state of Washington and over 40 mosques.  At a lobby day held in January, 2011 at the State Capitol Building in Olympia (Click here to see photos), Muslim voters from over 31 state legislative districts met with over 80 state lawmakers.
